Church Planting

Partnering with you in God's mission

it starts here

Church planting is exciting, risky, challenging and rewarding as we see God work in new ways in the lives of people. As part of the larger Baptist movement goal of a thousand healthy churches, TSS has a vision to see 100 healthy churches in our region. We see this happening through the starting of new churches and revitalizing or replanting existing ones.

You can be part of this adventure whether you are passionate about starting something new or revitalization.

Discern

Dive into the Discernment Process and discover if leading a church plant or joining a team is part of God’s plan for you.

Identify new opportunities through regional mapping and strategic partnerships.

Leading a Team

We offer coaching support for you and your planting team as dreams and ideas take form.

The annual evangelism and church planting conference, FORM is a festival of new ideas, storytelling, masterclasses, networking, team building and much more.

Multiply

Broaden your influence by becoming a sending church. For churches looking to plant we have mapping exercises, consultations and the Design Lab to help you understand your region or local area and where God is at work.

our region

TSS has 9 regional networks that you can plug into depending on where you sense a calling. These networks provide a place where you will build relationships and support.

your story, our story

The Great Commission challenges all followers of Jesus to invest their heart, soul and purpose into making disciples. This viral transmission of the gospel of love, grace and hope is not only to capture our hearts as Christ followers but our time, resources and passion

We believe that if enough followers of Jesus in NSW and the ACT lived their lives and express the gospel with mercy, justice, friendship, hope sharing and generosity, they could change the fabric of our culture.

This conviction lies at the heart of Gen1K.
