Jamie Wendt

Regional Minister: Southern Sydney
Jamie attends and leads Padstow Baptist Community Church. He has been in full time ministry there for the last 23 years in 3 different roles.

Jamie has a strong desire to see the vision of 100 healthy churches in a generation in our region with the Transform Southern Sydney team.

Jamie is married to Anne and has 3 adult children.

Leeanne Smith

Church Leadership Facilitator

For over forty years Leeanne has served as a volunteer in several NSW churches, including working directly with paid ministry staff developing and implementing various ministries. She is currently involved in leadership development at Gymea Baptist Church.

Initially training as a physiotherapist, she has also worked as an event manager and full-time mum. In 2017, Leeanne established her own life and leadership coaching business. She is credentialed by the International Coach Federation as an Associate Certified Coach and has a Diploma in Christian Leadership Coaching as well as a Diploma of Theology. Most of her coaching time is spent with those leading churches, ministries within churches, or within Christian schools.

Leeanne has been married to Glenn since 1984. They have two sons and have recently gained two gorgeous daughters-in-law. She loves walking with friends, drinking coffee, reading, and baking.

Andrei Mocanu

Church Health Facilitator

Andrei has been a committed member of Georges River Life Church since 2010 where he has served in several ministries. He enjoys helping people to encounter God in their place of need and to experience an intimate relationship with Him.

Andrei is passionate about communicating to others the powerful reality and depth of God's love and helping them to experience walking in His presence moment by moment.

Milard Sleimans

Church Network and Multiplication Facilitator

Milard trained at Morling College and served Narwee Baptist Church in first a student, then associate role, before leaving to serve with Global Interaction as a missionary in Lebanon for almost 20 years.

He has served as Dean of students, mentoring future pastors for over 5 years at the Arab Baptist Seminary and preached in many churches all over Lebanon. He started a large evangelistic outreach which reached hundreds of young adults with the gospel message.

Around 9 years ago, by the grace of God, Milard planted a church with 10 adults and it grew to over 150 people. Milard was an international faculty with Haggai Leadership where he taught on evangelism in Hawaii and Singapore.

He is married to Joyce, and they have 3 young adult children. Milard's one great purpose is knowing Christ and making Him known. One of the ways he wants to do this is by joining the Transform Southern Sydney team to pursue strategically our vision to see 100 healthy churches, transforming southern Sydney through knowing Christ and making him known.
